Hummer watching TV?
i

t must be said that most episodes of Welcome to Nocturnia have more than a few rough edges, but doubtless you have never seen anything quite like them.

Essentially a one-man (Frank Fitzgerald) production, Welcome to Nocturnia aired weekly on Manhattan public access TV for two years.  Very personal in concept and execution, the series presented a collage (or mish-mash, depending on your point of view) of elements that included on-screen drawing, occasional odd animations, music and "found sound" mixes, periodic reports from the All News Dream and its cast of unique characters -- and all topped off with some purty durn fancy "avant garde" camera work (Read: no time to use the tripod).

Meet the team and check out some segments.
